Sie sollen eine Chance bekommen.

Hallo so I've realized I've told my mother that I would be updating every Sunday, but that of course isn't going to happen I guess, since I tend to forget about doing that at night. Okay so I have time today and I can update it to tell you what has happened this week. I can't believe that this week is my last week in Bonn.

Monday we didn't do much just go to class, and had the meeting about the manul just read it. Some of us just chilled by the Rhine that day. It was a boreing day I guess you could say. Tuesday we didn't go to class that day as it was going to take all day to walk up the incline of the large hill since it isn't techinally a mountain. In english it's called the Dragon Castle. After the nice workout that we had to get up and caught my breathe the view was beautiful. Oh and I got stung by a bee for the first time of course in Germany. Lol I was fine I'm not allergic to it. We walked back down and headed to the Rhine and took a boat back it was nice and relaxing. Later that day me and Nina my host sister went into Cologne and went shopping for some clothes and I found a coat that was a nice deal I just need to go back to buy it before I leave.
Wednesday we had class and later that day we went to this beautiful castle in Bruhl. I wished I took pictures inside but I wasn't able to they didn't allow photos to be taken. Afterwards we celebrated Hector's birthday party and got home late. Thursday we didn't do much just had class and went home nothing interesting happened. Friday had class, said goodbye to Martin one of my German friends, and later that night chilled at the old AIB. I didn't get home until late in the morning.

Saturday Emily, Kayden, Rob, and Lydia came over at around 2pm and once here I showed them the house introduce them to my host family and got the pop, oreos, and butterfingers from them. I showed them around Bonn and we were going to the Haribo outlet it was closed so we went back home and had the BBQ with Mario and his family along with my host family it was good. They left around midnight and I went to bed. Sunday they came around 10am and we had breakfast. Once we were all set we headed to Cologne, Nina came with to help show them around. Emily and Lydia climbed up the tower while Rob, Kayden, Nina, and I stayed at the bottom. Once they came back down we ate some potato chips and walked down to the Rhine toward the Chocolate factory. It was interesting, but the buying chocolate area wasn't much. We came home around 6pm and they left soon after. Of course I'm planning on visiting them and them me while I'm in Freiburg. Also we're planning on staying with them during the summer.

Wenn es Geschieht

When in Rome.....okay I'm sorry that I didn't update this on Sunday, I was busy and kind of went swimming, but I'll get to that in a moment. It's better late than never I always say.

Monday: Okay let's see if I can remember what exactly happened about a week ago. It seems that only a week is like a month ago and you just can't remember what happened. I don't think much really did happen on Monday just a regular day that we spent going to class, and chilling at the garden. So we had the German political system talk that day it was long, but interesting.

Tuesday: Well this was the fun day. We had a field day. We played games childish games, but still games that we needed to do German in which was learning, but having fun. After that we had to meet up with German students there were about 90 of them this time which was fun, because all we did was chill and have dinner with them some played sports. I chatted with a lot of them and made a couple of friends which was nice. Wednesday: Hmm oh went to classes, but after class instead of going home I went to the beach with 3 other girls in my group and a couple of germans. The beach was cool. The sand was like the sand in Mexico it was soft. The water was cold, but nice and it had been hot tuesday-friday. After the beach us girls chilled in the garden with a couple of kids from our group.

Thursday: Let's see here oh on Thursday class like usual, but of course after class we had our lovely Cologne tour with the bakery testing, but that day we also had thsi perfume testing that I couldn't do the smell of it was to strong and getting me dizzy. It was cool to walk around Koln, but after that I went home had a homemade doner which is delicious and I'm glad that I came home for supper that night. Friday: Class, but after class I went home straight away and went swimming with my host sister and her 2 friends. The pools are nice but the one in Bruhl I think had to many little ones running around and a lot of families.
Saturday: Well the game was of course on this day it was amazing game Duesdoldorf won 3:0 that's a beating. Scoreing 1 is a normal win, scoring 2 is a kick in the bum, and scoring 3:0 is a beating. After that we walked around Duesdoldorf and went to this place where a lot of free things were going on we stayed there for a couple hours. At night some of us left. Me and 2 other girls decided we wanted to go do something and our german friends said that they were going swimming so we did that went swimming with them at night it was fun actually. Sunday: Well I didn't do much execpet for sleep, eat, read, do homework. And well chatted with Alanna, and Cameron for a good 1hour or so and decided it was a good idea to go to bed.

Kannst du mir sagen?

There's some bad news. The 2nd week in I forgot to mention that Megan Lee a student that was in the program had to go home because her dad had a heart attack and passed away, and while she was in the States her grandfather had passed away. She hasn't returned and most likely wont. Last week friday we found out that another student left us Lilly. Her reasons were different from the start once she got to D.C. she didn't want to do this. We tried to convince her that it would be great, but she missed her boyfriend who's a junior in high school, and probably other people back home. We are a little upset that she had taken a spot of someone who really wanted to come. So there are only 23 of us now. 8 girls 15 boys.

Monday: I went to class from 9-1 like everyday of the week nothing unusually about that. Expect for that Helid the area rep. for Bonn was our teacher for the day and I felt that I've learned more from her than I have in the weeks we've been in class. Then again I must remind myself that no normal person can learn a language in 7 weeks. It takes a baby a year or two just to figure out how to say a few small phrases. It takes a while for the brain to switch, translate, and communicate in a different language. Anyways on Monday after lunch we had to meet up at the parking spot across the street from the AIB since that day we were going to hang out with some german students all over Germany. It was weird at first talking to Karin and Peter was cool I learned some from them. We had gone to Hurtgenwald it's a WWII site. After that we went back to the castle where they were staying it's a hotel/cafe place. We played american football and chatted with the students. I meet someone from Freiburg and he's going to show me around Freiburg once I get there. He's into dancing and knows how to so I'm going to see if I can get into the dance studio and attempet to dance....lol.

Tuesday/Wednesday: Class like normal and after class we kind of just hang out around the AIB chillin, taking naps, reading, going on the computer, finishing up lunch, and/or doing homework. It's a nice place to be when you don't want to spend money to do something and don't want to go back home right away. Some kids went back to the Haribo factory, and others made a american cheese cake for Hartwig.

Thursday: Class in the morning, then after lunch we went to Koln to meet up with Hartwig. It was Hartwig's birthday and so our group made him a card signed it, and also made him a cheese cake from the US, and put strawberries on it. We toured around Koln and had another pastrie (Sp) testing which is the best part I must add. It was also Sarah's last day with us she was heading back to the states the next day. So most of us stayed out until 10pm with her and then had to go home since we had classes the next day. Sarah remined me of Emily my older sister so much that it was sad for her to leave.

Friday: We listened to Mason give his presentation on electrionic music in german it was really cool. I understood half of it so at least I know that I'm learning something here in germany. After that we had class, but after the second break we came back and played a game it was where we had to put someone's name famous, or someone that we all knew on the forehead of the person next to us and then ask in german questions about the name that was on our forehead. It was a fun game. After lunch at 2pm I and a couple other kids in my class took an extra hour to learn more german. It's mainly learning how to converse. We'll be doing it every Wed. and Fri.

Saturday: I went and got some school supplies and found a tank-top for 3 euros which is a good deal in Bonn. Me and Nathalie hanged out since we both were missing Sarah. Around 7pm we both headed out in search of the place where my host parents were playing that night. It was a big outdoor party, but the problem is my host parents knew the town, but not the stop. There were 5 different stops we could have gotten off. After a half hour me and Nat were stressed and decided to go to Bad Godesberg to chill with a couple of people and told Ralf, that we were sorry taht we couldn't make it. We all left around 1:40 and waited for the night bus that didn't come it was around.....about 2:20 that we decided to walk than to take a taxi. So we all walked from Bad Godesberg to Bonn which took about 3 hours it was nice though you could see the stars. I didn't get home until 5am, and after a shower and checking my facebook I didn't get to bed until 6am.

Sunday: Today well I got up at 2:30pm thinking it was still dark and wondering why it was. Forgetting that these blinds here block out sunlight so good that your room can be dark in the middle of the afternoon which is nice. I opened up my blinds and got blinded by the light not reailzing that it was that bright out. I had my lunch at 3pm and most likely supper will be at 7pm tonight. I'm just relaxing at home and fixing up my notes, reading, and listening to music.

I have 3 more weeks until I go off to Freiburg. I'm getting so comfy here in Bonn and I have friends. It's just like when I left the states going to make new friends.
